Ukraine Banknote of the Third karbovanets

The karbovanets (Ukrainian: карбованець, karbovanets, plural: карбованці, karbovantsi for 2–4, or карбованців, karbovantsiv for 5 or more), also known as kupon (Ukrainian: купон, kupon, plural: купони, kupony) or coupon, has been a distinct unit of currency in Ukraine during three separate periods of the 20th century. It is also a predecessor currency of today's Ukrainian hryvnia.

In 1991, notes were introduced in denominations of 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 karbovanets (also called kupons[1] or coupons). All 1991 banknotes were of the same design, picturing Lybid from the monument of the founders of Kyiv on the obverse, and the Sophia Cathedral on reverse. The banknotes did not carry individual serial numbers or signatures. In 1992, banknotes for 100, 200, 500, 1,000 karbovanets were issued, which carried serial numbers and were better protected to counterfeiting.

MALAYSIA RM50 (Fourth series) - July 2009

Obverse: Portrait of Candido Mariano da Silva Rondon, or Marechal Rondon (1865 – 1958) was a Brazilian military officer who is most famous for his exploration of Mato Grosso and the Western Amazon Basin. Map outline of Brazil and hut in Amazon jungle - Old Telegraph Station (In 1890, Candido Rondon was commissioned as an army engineer with the Telegraphic commission, and helped build the first telegraph line across the state of Mato Grosso.)

Reverse: Brazilian Girls (Native Brazilians - Carajás Indians from the Araguaya River). Local food from Amazonia: fish, maize, vegetables and pineapples. Watermark: The Effigy of the Republic of Brazil (Portuguese: Efígie da República) is used as a national personification, both in Brazil and in Portugal, symbolizing the Republic.

Royal Bank of Scotland £5 note

The Royal Bank of Scotland £5 note, also known as a fiver, is a banknote of the pound sterling. It is the second smallest denomination of banknote issued by The Royal Bank of Scotland. The current polymer note, first issued in 2016, bears an image of the author Nan Shepherd on the obverse and a pair of mackerel on the reverse. Source

The Royal Bank of Scotland began issuing £5 notes in 1727, the same year as the bank's founding.Though strictly not legal tender in Scotland, Scottish banknotes are nevertheless legal currency and are generally accepted throughout the United Kingdom.

Scotland's Clydesdale Bank £5 note

The Clydesdale Bank £5 note is a banknote of the pound sterling. It is the smallest denomination of banknote issued by the Clydesdale Bank. The current polymer note, first issued in 2015, bears an image of engineer William Arrol on the obverse and an image of the Forth Bridge on the reverse. It is the first fully polymer banknote to go into circulation in the United Kingdom. Source

Saudi Arabia Banknotes

The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority released the nation’s sixth series of bank notes, consisting of 5-, 10-, 50-, 100-, and 500-riyal issues, on Dec. 26, 2016. The first four notes have the bust of the country’s current king, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the face, but the 500-riyal note reaches back to the start of the Saudi monarchy. It features King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, known as Abdul Aziz, who reigned from 1932 to 1953.

The notes increase progressively in size from 145 by 66 millimeters to 166 by 74 millimeters. Source

Germany Banknote - 1989 Series

The Deutsche Mark, abbreviated "DM" or About this sound "D-Mark", was the official currency of West Germany and later the unified Germany from 1948 until 2002. It was first issued under Allied occupation in 1948 to replace the Reichsmark, and served as the Federal Republic of Germany's official currency from its founding the following year until the adoption of the euro.

In 1999, the mark was replaced by the euro; its coins and banknotes remained in circulation, defined in terms of euros, until the introduction of euro notes and coins in early 2002.

Spain Banknote - 1992 Series

The peseta was the currency of Spain between 1869 and 2002. Along with the French franc, it was also a de facto currency used in Andorra (which had no national currency with legal tender).

The peseta was replaced by the euro (€) in 1999 on currency exchange boards. Euro coins and notes were introduced in January 2002, and on 1 March 2002 the peseta lost its legal tender status in Spain, and also in Andorra. Source

MALAYSIA (The Third Series) - Type 4

Malaysia third series banknotes were introduce stage by stage in the spirit of Wawasan 2020 that reflects the country’s rapid economic development and achievements.

The denominations were issued as follows:
-5 February 1996, RM2 - Malaysia modern telecommunications.
-29 September 1997, RM10 - Malaysia modern transportations.
-20 July 1998, RM50 - Oil drilling platform.
-27 September 1999, RM5 - Malaysia modern building.
-26 October 1998, RM100 - Automotive Malaysia

-8 November 2000, RM1 -Malaysia heritage and culture .
At the earlier stage, RM1 note was not introduced because BNM intention to have RM1 circulation coin to replace the role of RM1 note. However, this plan was reviewed mainly due to comment on the RM1 coin which apparently to be to heavy or messy to be carried around for daily usage.  Source here n here

The Type 4 of the third series was introduced in 2000 with the new governor signature. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz took over the position left by Tan Sri Dato' Seri Ali Abul Hassan. This series of note has been circulated until to date.

MALAYSIA (The Third Series) Type 2

On 5 February 1996, Bank Negara Malaysia introduced the RM2 banknote, which was the first denomination of a new Malaysian banknote to be designed with the Vision 2020 theme. Depictions of the country’s rapid economic development and achievements were introduced for the first time in the banknotes of this series.

The Type 2 of the third series was introduced in early 1999 which inherit the Type 1 design but with the new governor, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Ali Abul Hassan. The position of the governor signature of this Type 2 note still remain on the same.
